Sara Peneton

Training Manager, Professional Dog Trainer

Coming from a farm, I’ve always loved animals, especially dogs.  I had dreamed of the opportunity to work with dogs, I just wasn’t sure what that would look like.  This opportunity came to me in 2014 when I started my own business walking dogs while going to school at Animal Behavior College.  Part of my schooling was to work with a mentor; my mentor was Ted Terroux, with Terroux Dog Training (TDT).  After completing my mentorship, Ted asked me to join his team in 2015. In 2016, I became an AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) evaluator. Who knew, three years later that I would be an instructor for TDT's Basic Obedience and Canine Good Citizen classes!

In 2021, the Terroux's acquired Ralston Valley Canine (RVC), and Tiffany asked me to be their General Manager.  I oversaw operations and training a little over a year.  Eventually I was able to focus more on training and not the kennel operations, which is what I was looking forward to.  I have continued to manage the training side of RVC as well as run classes at TDT and help with private instruction.

Leona, my third Cane Corso (Italian Mastiff) has been a thrill to train and in return she helps me work with other dogs either at RVC or TDT.  Leona is certified as an Advanced Canine Good Citizen (CGCA), Trick dog Intermediate (TKI), and Rally Novice X (RNX).

Today I am the Training Manager at RVC, primarily overseeing our Board & Train and a la carte training programs, and I help run Basic Obedience, and CGC classes at TDT.

Taylor Rodriguez

Professional Dog Trainer

Hi, I’m Taylor — a passionate animal lover and dog trainer who believes great training starts with understanding, trust, and positive communication.

I began my journey working with my cat, Loki, teaching him basic commands that most dogs would know! I now regularly work with my own dogs, Kiba and Zula, whose very different personalities taught me that every dog learns differently. Today, I use relationship-based, positive training methods to help dogs build confidence, improve behavior, and thrive at home and in the real world.

My goal is simple: make training effective, stress-free, and enjoyable for both you and your dog!
