Ralston Valley Canine is a quality-focused and trusted boarding, training, and grooming facility. We’re looking for a Canine Care & Client Services Associate to join our team—someone who enjoys working with dogs, helping people, and staying active throughout the day.
This role blends hands-on dog care with front desk customer service, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and meaningful work.

What You’ll Do:
You’ll play an important role in both our daily dog care routines and our client experience. Responsibilities include,

Greeting clients, assisting with check-ins and check-outs, and answering basic questions at the front desk

Feeding dogs according to instructions and schedules
-
Taking dogs outside for and supervising playtime
-
Walking dogs individually as needed
-
Cleaning and maintaining kennels, suites, and common areas
-
Scooping yards and helping keep outdoor spaces clean and safe
-
Monitoring dogs for comfort, safety, and general well-being
-
Supporting the team to ensure a calm, clean, and positive environment for dogs and clients
What We’re Looking for:
-
A genuine love for dogs and comfort handling dogs of various sizes and energy levels
-
Friendly, professional customer service skills
-
Reliability—showing up on time and doing the job well matters here
-
Ability to stay on your feet and perform physical tasks (walking, cleaning, lifting within reason)
-
Attention to detail and willingness to follow care instructions—safety is a priority here
-
Team-oriented attitude and a positive, respectful work style
-
Gingr software experience? That's a plus; but not required
Experience in dog care, veterinary clinics, boarding facilities, or customer service is preferred—but not required. We’re happy to train the right person.
Schedule & Work Environment:

Part-time, 20 to 25 hrs per week; flexible schedule
-
Ability to safely handle dogs ranging from 10–150 lbs on leash
-
Physically active role: standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working indoors and outdoors

You will get wet during kennel cleanings (we’ll show you the right gear to wear)

If scooping poop and cleaning up urine makes you uncomfortable, animal care is probably not the right fit...
-
Weekend and holiday availability may be required (animals don’t take days off!)

Fast-paced at times, especially during busy boarding periods
